On June 4, 2024, ENPLUG employees headed to Ocheon Port in Boryeong for a company workshop filled with seafood, sunsets, fishing, and unforgettable team memories.
After arriving in Boryeong, the team gathered for a special dinner featuring a local scallop and pen shell seafood course meal, one of the region’s well-known specialties. Sitting together over fresh seafood and warm conversations gave everyone a chance to slow down, relax, and connect outside of the office.
Later that evening, the group visited Yeongbojeong Pavilion near Ocheon Port to watch the sunset over the West Sea. With the ocean breeze, quiet scenery, and glowing evening sky, it became one of the most memorable moments of the trip. The team also took a group photo together at the pavilion, capturing the atmosphere of the workshop perfectly.
But the real adventure began before sunrise.
Around 2–3 a.m. the next morning, everyone gathered at the harbor and boarded the fishing boat for an early-morning departure. Some employees were experienced anglers, while others were trying ocean fishing for the very first time, but once the lines hit the water, everyone quickly became fully engaged.
There were cheers whenever someone caught a large fish, friendly competition between coworkers, and plenty of laughter throughout the trip. It was a side of each other that coworkers rarely get to see during everyday office life.
At the end of the workshop, the team even held a small award ceremony based on the fishing results, with fun categories like “Biggest Catch” and “Most Fish Caught.” The atmosphere became even more lively as everyone shared stories and compared their catches.
One of the most memorable parts of the trip was that the fish caught during the outing were cleaned and prepared as sashimi to take home. Being able to share the fresh catch with family members made the experience feel even more meaningful.
More than just a company outing, the Boryeong workshop became a chance for the ENPLUG team to recharge, laugh together, and build stronger connections outside of work.
And judging by the stories still being shared in the office, it’s a trip nobody will forget anytime soon.
